PIRTEK Team Murray hospitality guests have been the enjoying the fruits of a partnership with local Indianapolis company, Bottoms Up beer dispensers, this month.
The ‘world first’ product devised and constructed locally is the first beer dispenser that fills beer glasses from the bottom up.
This minimizes waste and ensures a talking point for hours among guests.
The arrangement came about between PIRTEK Team Murray owner, Brett “Crusher” Murray and former V8 Supercar and IndyCar engineer – Andy Moulden – who is now based in the US.
Bottoms Up branding is appearing on the #61 PIRTEK Team Murray Chevrolet during the Month of May.
“We are here to run a very serious and competitive program, but also to have fun during the process,” said PIRTEK Team Murray owner, Brett “Crusher” Murray.
“Josh Springer from Bottoms Up is a talented young guy from Indianapolis who has developed this awesome product and who wants to take it to the world.
“As anyone can see from our driver, Matt Brabham, we are about giving young people a ‘crack’ and there could not be a bigger opportunity for Bottoms Up to get out on the world stage than through the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.”
Warren Carroll – who co-founded Bottoms Up with Springer – has been enjoying the full Indy 500 experience as part of the team.
“We love the Indy 500 – it’s a massive party throughout the entire city,” said Carroll. “We’ve always been on the spectator side with a group of friends, but we’ve just stepped up the party with PIRTEK Team Murray and Matty Brabham and it is great to think we’ll be in the 100th race.
“We have an awesome product and have found an awesome team in PIRTEK Team Murray and Crusher to partner with.”
The Bottoms Up Beer dispenser in the PIRTEK Team Murray hospitality facility has become the talk of the paddock, with a number of former race winners being seen at various stages throughout the month dropping by see the dispenser in action and to enjoy some MillerCoors product.
The system combines the beer dispensary, similar to a standard keg with the Bottoms Up Beer Cup – which has a hole in the bottom and a magnet that seals the cup. The custom branded magnet from the refillable cups provide an additional momento for the guests.
PIRTEK Team Murray will be making a difference in the lives of 500 representatives from the military and first responder communities within its hospitality area through its association with the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation. All of these guests will have access to the Bottoms Up System.
